Steely Dan – Can’t Buy A Thrill

I’ve never had the chops to even dare claim Steely Dan as a musical influence, but when it comes to lyrics, they’ve been a guiding light for a long, long time. I’ve been trying to write something as good as “Do It Again” for 30 years, and still haven’t gotten close.

RIP Walter Becker.
