Horrible acts of this kind seem to inspire both the best and worst of artists; one the one hand, Picasso’s reaction to war gave us “Guernica.” On the other hand, Toby Keith’s reaction to 9.11 gave us “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American).”
